1. Open MS Word Document

2. Click on the Insert tab on Word’s ribbon.

3. Look for Pages group & click on the Cover Page option

4. Now browse the templates and click on the one you want to use as your cover.

5. Upon clicking on a template, it will be inserted into your document. You can now edit the text, font, colour, font size & other details on the template to use it as a cover page for your document.

1. Open MS Word Document

2. Click on the Insert tab on Word’s ribbon.

3. Look for Text group & click on a little document look-alike icon to access Quick Parts options

4. Select Building Blocks Organizer on the drop-down menu

5. A pop up will appear on your screen with block options on the left and a preview on the right.

6. You can explore the block options and design your cover page per your taste.

7. Now that you have created a personalized cover design, let’s save it as a template.

8. Select your design by pressing Ctrl+A

9. Now click on the Cover page from pages group to access the dropdown menu

10. Select Save selection to cover page gallery

11. Upon clicking on it a Create new building block dialogue box will appear on your screen.

How to remove the custom cover page

To remove a custom cover page:

1. Click on the Insert tab on Word’s ribbon.

2. Look for Pages group & click on the Cover Page option

3. Scroll the template gallery until you see the custom cover page that you designed

4. Right-click on your design

5. Select Organize & Delete

6. Now a Building Block Organizer pop-up will appear on your screen

7. Now look for the custom cover page and click delete to delete your design.
